Attorney
Ellis is a seasoned legal professional with decades of experience in litigation, commercial law, and dispute resolution. Admitted as both an Advocate and later an Attorney, he is known for delivering practical, client-focused legal solutions.
He holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology and an LLB, along with postgraduate diplomas in Company Law, Tax, and Labour Law—demonstrating his commitment to specialist expertise.
Since founding his own practice in 1990, Ellis has earned a reputation for strategic advice and a deep understanding of legal needs across individuals and businesses. He also served over a decade as a Commissioner in the Small Claims Court, reflecting his dedication to accessible justice.
Justin Cloete
Attorney
Justin is an admitted attorney with experience in civil, commercial, and family law. He earned his LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, graduating with Dean’s List honours and membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Admitted in 2017 after completing his articles at Ellis Coll Attorneys, Justin has since handled complex litigious matters with a detail-oriented and analytical approach. Known for his integrity and strong drafting skills, he’s committed to achieving excellent outcomes.

Francesco Ferreri
Attorney | sports law
Francesco is an admitted attorney with experience in commercial and sports law, particularly football. After earning his BA and LLB from the University of Natal, he began his career as a legal advisor before being admitted as an attorney in 1997.
A former partner at Stockl and Associates, Francesco later followed his passion for football and became a registered intermediary. He now consults with the firm, specialising in contractual and sports law.
He also lectures at the School of Paralegal Studies, where he has taught a broad range of legal subjects for over 20 years.
Abigail Sher
Attorney, conveyancer & notary public
Abigail earned her LLB from the University of South Africa in 2007. She completed her Articles at Israel Goldberg Attorneys and was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 2008, followed by admission as a Notary Public in 2009.
With over 13 years of experience, Abigail specialises in conveyancing and notarial practice. She also lectured Conveyancing at Boston College, sharing her expertise with aspiring professionals.
